I haven't updated this thing in well over two years. Aha. I doubt it caused overmuch concern to anyone though.
Let's see, what has happened since I updated last... Ah. I graduated high school, and am now attending the University of North Texas for some kind of art degree, which at this point looks like Drawing and Painting (aaahahaha yeah, I'm planning on getting a useful degree in graduate school. Concept art or somesuch). I'm looking forward to my classes for next semester, which mostly comprise of figure drawing, watercolor, Russian, and some art history thing online. Squee.
I have tons and tons of classwork, some of which might even be worth uploading as far as craft goes, but it's really just a bunch of still lives. Occasionally there's a naked person, which I find far more interesting. Perhaps those are worth sharing.
I would certainly -like- to think my art's beginning to mature, and if not, it has at least diversified. Even if I still enjoy drawing animal-folk a great deal, I am at least now capable of drawing many other things without it looking like I tried to draw with my off-hand. I have to say, this makes me feel better as an artist.
Oh, and also, I have learned to love charcoal. A year ago I would be horrified to hear myself say this. Truly, I now know the truth of things. And the truth is... Tony Blair would not be afraid of charcoal. And neither am I, my friend.
Neither am I.
